An uneventful drive from PS (Palm Springs) to PP (Pacific Palisades) this afternoon. But a delightful dinner at my sister, Diane's house. On the menu: beef filet with zucchini, mashed potatoes, kale salad....and... a 1985 BV Cab and a 1985 Corbieres (SW France). There's a treasure trove of 1980s California wines in the Reagan cellar. We offered to help drink these wines that are most likely at or past optimal drinking status.
Photos of us on the Pacific Palisades and a tasty French lemon tart with lemons from Casa Somera. Notice the tart decorations: a lemon with leaves, a Christmas Tree, and a Star of David.
It was good to visit Diane & Bob, and to see and congratulate the newly minted Reagan lawyer, Bobby Reagan. I think he may have to re-brand himself as Robert while in lawyer mode.
